I have been using the Haglofs Barrier Jacket over the last few days in the Lake District.

The weather has been particularly cold but the Barrier jacket has proved very versatile it has certainly kept me warm, and in damp cloudy weather has also kept me dry.

I have warn this garment as part of a layer system i.e. with a thermal top as a base layer then a long sleeve shirt and then the Barrier jacket and in much colder and wet weather with a Haglofs waterproof jacket as an outer garment. The jacket is also very light and packs away very easily in your rucksack.

Overall I would say that the Haglofs Barrier Jacket was very good choice for an outer layer warn in cold weather with a couple of layers underneath.

Anybody who knows me also knows how much i love this product,
almost to the point i can honestly say “its change my life”.

This must be the most versatile warmth layer available.
As most stuff will help you keep warm ,threw using the layering system,However this jkt gives you warmth ,no matter how cold you are.
i myself use the jacket and trousers as a “thermal base layer” for my adventures to a “just in case layer” on holiday as they are so lightweight and easy to pack in almost any small space available.

The only thing in my mind that would be warmer ,would be a down layer, but with our climate of wetness this would not be as effective as the barrier jkt ,which even when wet will still keep you warm.
